A couple days ago i sold my 3 awesome 24" TN dislpay, for 3 slightly smaller 23" but more awesome IPS displays - the award winning ASUS PA238QR 23" IPS - pricematched at $208 (a STEAL of a price for IPS displays) IPS viewing angles really showed its true strengths on the far left/right monitors - di...

1) SLI allows for similar GPUs in the same family to pair up. From your experience (not what is claimed by AMD) is this also true for Crossfire? Would a 7950 be able to be paired with a 7970 per se, with minimal hiccups expected during operation and set up? 2) Should I worry about matching manufact...

Yup i get about 40fps with 6970CF - and medium-high AA/Quality

With BF3, and Crysis 2 - i have to step it down to 1600x900 over 3 monitors (4800x900) so that BF3 is limited by my CPU (i7 [email protected]) and i can turn on more eyecandy like HBAO and a higher quality AA.

I've noticed when I extend the desktop to both screens I have some "flickering" on the second 17 inch monitor. Almost like its trying to adjust itself to something automatically. It only flickers when I scroll the mouse wheel up and down a page or move a window around, etc. Seems to happen when one...

my 3rd monitor is slightly smaller than the other 2 (23.1" vs 24") but theyre all running 1920x1080 - i just prop the 3rd monitor up a bit more so i cant really notice the size difference Windows + P switches between them pretty easily, and using HydraGrid makes managing windows a bit better Every g...

Yup - fisheye happens on almost every 1st/3rd person game for the reasons that Aussie descripted (one camera wide view port) - the effect is even more exagerrated if you pivot the side monitors towards you (since the game is rendered assumine a completely flat surface) If you place all 3 monitors to...

If the fisheye effect bothers you then you have to either go full flat, or even turn the side monitors *away* from you to lessen it Since the side monitors are usually for peripheral vision anyways - i make mine usually flat..sometimes i turn it about 10 degresses inward, as long as i see each monit...

Don't use the fix if your using eyefinity, it was confirmed it has limited support by Ibrin in that it will work with standard resolutions but not custom ones. This is for nvidia systems primarily. Hope that helps. overdriven12 - what is your rig specs? cause the above might apply. EDIT: Helifax ma...

I uploaded a new version of Widescreen Fixer that adds HUD centering for initial game release v1.00. Helifax also sent me some preliminary FoV fix with it but I didn't have a lot of time to look at that and implement it yet. I'll work with him more on it tomorrow and I'll release a new plugin then....

If you youtube it - you can do a 3x1 in Portrait and it looks right, theres a 3x2 Landscape setup - but its way zoomed in and probably not playable.

Not sure you actually need anything special to get it to work.
