The problem is that all my games are on either Steam or Origin (those won’t work either?). The exception is League of Legends, but that game can only be launched true the launcher. So it is really tough to test, because standalone games aren’t that common any more. Same issue here unfortunately.

I look forward to trying it out, though I'm away next weekend, so I'll get to it early the week after.

hehe so 18gb gets the message but 32gb does not ?

I wondered about that myself and ran it several times, but never got it. I'm guessing that it has something to do with me not already having ImDisk installed.

This sounds really interesting. I'm currently using Supercache to do a similar sort of acceleration on my game SSDs and occasionally experimenting with RAM disks, keeping isos of various game installs on another disk. So the idea of a program which will create and load the games straight into a RAM...

No worries, I can handle the wait. It should be worth it just to free up the desk space. ;)

PS: Thanks for the quick response.

I'm distinctly unimpressed by the shipping rates to the UK, they're far higher than I pay over here (double in fact) to ship stuff of similar weight to the USA. Hopefully the stand itself will make up for that when it arrives and allow me to forget the raping of my wallet. Any ideas on what sort of ...

If you do go for it, make sure that you check the Nvidia forums etc to make sure if any other users with similar systems to yours have had problems. I'm guessing that you have an 9X0 series motherboard, seeing as your system info says that you are running an AMD FX 8120 processor. I tried to get a p...

Latest news from Nvidia is that they're still working on it... but no news if it will be a drivers update or a mobo BIOS update to fix it yet, or any kind of time frame for it to happen in.

As far as I'm aware it doesn't. The issue seems to be that the cards don't power up properly when there is more than one of them and they're set to run at a surround res, but when there is only one card/PCB they work fine. For obvious reasons though I'd be very wary of splashing all that cash out.

I decided on a temporary upgrade from my GTX 580s this morning, but didn't bargain on quite how temporary it was going to be. It seems that GTX 680s do not work at all in SLi when surround is chosen if you are on an AMD 990FX chipset motherboard (there has been mention of it affecting other 990 seri...
