Wow, a tool was finally made to fix this game because the devs are too incompetent to change the FoV scaling method. One simple flick of the switch in UE4 (..and a possibly re-design of all fixed HUD placed elements), that's all it takes. I did try to do the standard change myself, but it did not re... |

Yeah I tested it shortly before MH:W came out and found the .ini edit did nothing. Submitted feedback about 21:9 support back when they did a closed alpha some 8 months ago. Well there's a hidden gem.
Played this a ton growing up. A rare RTS with RPG mechanics, felt unlike anything else at the time. Hell, it still feels unique to this day.
Would love to see a working modern resolution/widescreen fix for it too. |

Denuvo is going to hurt progress. Then again, being a JP developed game (incompetent), a simple hex edit might even work. It's also a sprite based game, meaning it's pixel perfect scaling in all resolutions/aspect ratios. Aka, it's anamorphic. It's also easily playable in a small window.. and objectively easier if you have a big screen since you can see way more without moving your eyes all over the place. This is one ... |

Game was updated and no longer pillarboxes to 16:9. However, they don't understand what FoV scaling is, so it's rendering Vert-. Bunch of people coming back to the game for NEXT, myself included, only to find out a large portion of the mods we used ceased being updated, including this critical 21:9 HUD fix.
