Hello all. I have been building and playing games on my P.C. since the old days when we only had 9k Modems and 486 CPU's I have recently been able to build a reasonable rig that is capable of running Far Cry 3 on a ASUS VG248QE 24" Monitor at 1920 x 1080 with max game settings. Unfortunately I am just recovering from a Rotator Cuff repair to my right shoulder , but during the boredom (cannot even play games!!!) I have come come across the 3 monitor set-ups for playing games which looks awesome. I would appreciate advice from the members of this website, as it seems to be the best I have come across for advice, information & enthusiasm. What board would be the best to post my P.C. specification and the questions I have? |

This is the best place for anything related to non-standard gaming resolutions. I've used this place since I bought my first widescreen monitor back in 2006 If you are running an NVidia GPU than look in here http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=70, if its AMD then here http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=66. Hope the injury heals up soon, must be a bummer having all that free time and not being able to play games. |

I've been eyeing triple-head setups since even the days before Eyefinity/Surround but never really pulled the trigger. Finally about a month ago I went triple screen and I'm totally happy with the result. It's definitely worth the trouble. Just be aware, that it is more graphically intensive so you will either need a good GPU or be willing to tone down the settings. |
