Hey all, Since me (and I m sure a lot of other users too) using 1280x768 resolution I can't get this board to fill the screen in width. The forum is too wide for my screen and I need to scroll horizontally too to read most topics. Is it possible to maybe add another template for users with smaller resolutions like 1280pixels? Would be very great! :wink: |

I don't get it. On my parents machine, it looks great at 1280x1024 using Firefox. In fact, it fits perfectly. Maybe they have smaller fonts selected... We ran a poll a while back, and most people were 1280 or higher. I thought I had it keyed to fit that. |

understandable just one thing to look at most (if not all, at least not now) tv/monitors can't support a high resolution such as 1680 x 1050 or higher that is the craw back of one of those pluse most dont have as fast of a response time however thet do offer a tuner built in and usually component inputs for HD viewing with a cable box or such so there is advantages and dis advantages to them |

not sure about this but, I don't think it's that you need a higher resolution, but a wider resolution. Example: 1280x768 will fit more of the forum in it than 1280x800 will, even though 1280x800 is a higher resolution. |

yes but that is not what i am saying example my cuz bought a 50" LCD tv but he can only go up to 1200 x 768 or something like that he was so excited to get a Sony Wega thinking it would give hime sharper pic than mine he should not have been confused by the ads and commercials as for watching tv it is great as for computer res it is also great just not as sharp and clear as mine if only a huge tv (and video card) could give a res such as 3850 x 2000 or something |

Okay, I have a solution... Use Mozilla Firefox I loaded up my wife's new laptop. It has a 14" widescreen at 1280x800. Using IE, the forum went too wide, past the native res. I loaded it in Firefox, and it limits it just fine. I don't want to artifically limit the forum to 1280, for those people who have wider displays. Using Firefox will allow everyone to be happy. Also, Firefox is much safer and is just much better all the way around. |
