Widescreen Grade: A Ultra-Widescreen Grade: C Multi-monitor Grade: C 4k Grade: C Read Full Detailed Report - Viva Piñata Viva Pinata was developed by Rare Ltd. and ported to Windows by Climax Group. This is a simulation-style game where you recruit and breed pinata creatures. As you progress through the game you will be able to discover and recruit more demanding pinatas. There are several gardens available for you to use in recruiting pinatas that allow you to set up different ecosystems and attract different types of pinatas. Like my own family, these pinatas fight, romance, and eat each other. Have fun. 4:3 16:10 16:9 3x1 |

I cannot really see how we can consider the lost vertical viewing area in the journal screen to be a flaw. Cranky? |

I cannot really see how we can consider the lost vertical viewing area in the journal screen to be a flaw. Me neither. From what I see, all you lose is tiled background, and the journal simply fills a larger percent of the screen real estate. The vertically-stretched 2D screens, on the other hand, probably should count as a minor anomaly. Also, the FMVs look hor + to me, which is something very unusual. C+, 100%. The 16:10 stretching is a pretty major oversight for a branding claiming to be "designed for widescreen." |

The vertically-stretched 2D screens, on the other hand, probably should count as a minor anomaly. I am not sure what you are talking about. Do you mean non-16:9 widescreen resolutions? They have the vertical stretching everywhere so I would not consider the 2D screens an anomaly. Also, the FMVs look hor + to me, which is something very unusual. The purple is an overlay. There are other FMVs with no overlays that stretch. I suppose it is possible they crop the sides in 4:3. |

The movies crop and stretch in 4:3. The comparison here is 16:10. I am going to write it as cropped in 4:3 since the source FMVs are 1280x720. This game was an odd DR. |
