Can you try to get a screenshot comparison that demonstrates the extra width of widescreen being used? "More empty space on the left and right" isn't really hor +. |

Are you saying that the grey box bounds the play area? If so, it appears that it's kind of an anamorphic with white bars. |

Is the extra width of widescreen ever used in this game? Or is the useful stuff always in the middle of the screen with the sides never displaying more than white background? |

You can only zoom in/ turn the camera, and then it can be filled. The ball can be launched outside too, but that's it. |

Looks like it's windowboxed. I'd basically call that as no support. |
