So any of you guys had your eyes on this game?

From wiki: Metro 2033 is an action-oriented video game with a combination of survival horror, RPG, and first-person shooter elements. The game is based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. It was developed by 4A Games in Ukraine and released in March 2010 for the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows.[2] In March 2009, 4A Games announced a partnership with Glukhovsky to collaborate on the game.

The game is a single player game only and i have no idea yet if it supports surround gaming but when i get back home i will try it for sure!
Downloading as we speak!

It is available on steam for 49.99 Euro or on g2play.net for 32 euro ( Ur choice :p )

Edit: Ooops missed there was a surround thread about this one: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=18803&start=0

It's a good linear shooter, the atmosphere is intense and insane... just did the "Ghost" level last night and I was freaking out.

Might get it. It looks like it could be great... if it's anything like FEAR, I'll love it to pieces once I stop being scared shitless by it.

It's not as smooth and polished as FEAR... not quite as rough around the edges as STALKER, but close. Pacing wise it is more like Half-Life 2 I would say, rather than FEAR or Quake or something.

The really killer thing about the game is immersion... if you like feeling like you are in the game, and you like linear shooters, and you don't mind some rough around the edges gameplay, I would suggest Metro 2033 wholeheartedly. Otherwise... skip it.

And triple-wide mouse movement is still wonky. It seems to think that you're still on a single screen, and the horizontal movement is 3x greater than vertical movement. Pretty annoying, adn makes the game all but unplayable.

Sure look like fun, though. But i'll wait for another patch.

AAAhhhhhhhhh! It's Mass Effect 2 all over again!
