I made an update to Seikur0's CE script ( Source: http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5132&p=20004#p20004 )
Adding some hotkeys and making an exe for ease of use for people who's not that in to CheatEngine usage.
Looks like this:
Image

I made 3 versions.

1. Full .exe version for you that dont have Cheat Engine installet (Varning, your Anti-Virus will nag you, but its normal, the exe will do stuff in the memory code and inject FOV values, Anti-Virus apps dont like that.)

2. A tiny .exe for you that have CheatEngine installed already.

3. Just the CT table, for you that know how to use it.

Instructions:
-Start Game and load your save.
-Alt-Tab back to desktop and start the FOV changer exe (right-click, Run as Administrator...)
-Alt-Tab back to game and enable script with hotkey NUM 0
-Increase or Decrese FOV with NUM+ and NUM-, go back to default fix with NUM*
-Success, no more puking :)

You can DL the files here: available from the PC Gaming Wiki Community Files (search there)

love it, was looking into a way to see if its possible to take the code for that and throw it into a self injecting .dll that generates a .ini file so it does it on launch or if the flawless widescreen guy could make a plugin for it.

Great stuff, anyone got before/after pics ?
BTW the game seems to have great Hor+ support out of the box... a screenshot of the first story checkpoint at any aspect ratio is all it takes to get a Detailed Report rollin' ;)

My triple wide is temporarily dismounted, i can only provide 4K shots, but not at the first story checkpoint. There's no going back in this savefiles and only one savespot. I can make a B/A pair of shots at where i'm now. Will it do anyway or should we wait?

Sure, look at the CT tables, but I wouldn't know if it helps you. I'm not a dev guy. :D
What i know is from the source link that it uses Array Of Bytes scan when it starts, which takes some time to find the value. I don't know if the FWS uses it or can be made to use it.
Would be really nice if we could skip CE usage. Makes it safer!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! This game was giving me freaking headaches everytime i played it with the narrow FOV. Really appreciate you making this.

I'm not that into using CheatEngine and I want to say THANK YOU to infinity for this simple to use tool that is the difference between me playing ME:SoW and not playing it. The default FOV in the game is awful, just terrible and I find it ridiculous that the devs couldn't be bothered to add an FOV slider for the PC port. It just reeks of lazy console-port development to a certain degree. How is it that the devs could add a game tweak option for a larger page file, but not add an FOV slider.

You are my hero for this month, saving the day by compensating for the laziness of developers.

Edit: Never mind I turned off my virus program and it worked! Thanks
this makes the game much more playable.

Hi. I am trying to use the full .exe and when I have the game open and I alt-tab to run the .exe as admin it give me an error: Insufficient system resources exist to complete. Anyone know what I need to do to get this working?

Thanks,
Shane

Hello, I have downloaded this FOV Changer, opened up the game and loaded the save, then Alt-tab and opened up MESoW-FOV-Fixer.exe as Administrator and back in to the game. Then I pressed the Num key 0 and the FOV just zoomed in to the max and when I pressed + or - keys nothing happened, then the game just chrashed.. Then I tried the F-keys version and it was the same, just zoomed in and chrashed. Is it because i'm playing the game in 3440x1440 resolution? I'm really sick of the default FOV and that there is no slider... god damn

Edit: I tried the MESoW-FOV-Fixer-Tiny.exe and now it works great so far :D Thank you very much this is so much better now :)
