I thought it was the leaked 1.4.

At least i posted the changelog. :P

I think i made it up to the vulcano without cheating.

After that I just went into godmode and noclipped like an angel of death raining unlimited rockets from the sky.

The patch was leaked, before it was ready. It was pulled, and I presume that that one is the official launch.

I quit halfway through FarCry when it got boring and repetitive for me. (yet I was addicted to Doom II when it came out lol..) Funny thing is it's one of the better ones out there! Maybe the vast number of FPSs and games in general we have to choose from these days is what contributes to my eventual lack of interest in almost every game I play even before I finish it.

Maybe this is why some game developers have started making games in 'episodes'.. some of us are becoming too ADD to finish a normal length game!

Yes, that 1.4 patch is the REAL DEAL.

It works great! I'm able to run with HDR + 4xFSAA

huzzah!

AND it has much less of a performance impact than the buggy 1.4 BETA

Oh, and i really dislike the episode method..

I'd rather wait 2 years for a full game than get a tiny 2 hour game every 6 months.

I LOVE half-Life 1 and 2.

Episode one was good, but WAY too short. Short enough that i think $20 was too mcuh. But i've read that episode 2 will be longer. I'm crossing my fingers..

Anybody else having problems with their mouse not working with the 1.4 patch. My mouse doesn't work in the game at all, but does in the menus. Odd. I might have to revert back to the 1.33 patch too see if that works.

Shame really, because I really like the multiplayer.

Maybe try re-installing the game but using teh cumulative 1.4 patch instad?

Wow, I just realized I had stopped playing FC a few weeks ago. I should start again, I want to finish it.
