Have to give a thumbs down. Tried the demo and there were one or two nice effects, but overall ... meh. Seemed very console-ish, especially with the insane Press Left, Right, Down sequence ... I could never figure out what those buttons corresponded with on my keyboard so I died over and over again ... but even before that, the whole atmosphere of the game just seemed kind of silly (I liked the exploding heads though). Mouse control was very floaty. With Bioshock out now and Crysis coming soon, there are much, much better games out there IMO. Sorry to go against the grain on this one, but I gotta go against the grain on this one.
Direction arrows for the minigame correspond to WASD keys in the expected manner (e.g. up = W, left = A, etc).
The control isn't so much floaty as it is that your character has heft and momentum. It's very similar to the way Dark Messiah or Chronicles of Riddick feel if you've ever played them (even though in Jericho you can't see your own body like in those games). It's not like the Half-Life 2/Bioshock school of design where you're a just a floating pair of hands that can turn in an instant and there's no sense of real physical presence in the environment. Not saying one style is better than they other, but they both have their merits.
I don't think anyone would disagree that, at least based on the demo, it's not a spectacular game, but it seems there's some fun to be had.
