Awesome game, mods have already made it more awesome. This time around Firaxis is releasing a REAL Software Developer's Kit with several tools to edit the game extensively, that stuff should be out within a week. DLL Source code will probably be out within the year.

I love how Street Fighter-esque the world leaders have become and I hope some people make some good new ones with actual new character screens. That would be awesome.

Has anyone gotten this to run at more than 2000px horizontal?

Just got it for Christmas. Installed ok but won't render 3D at all at, say, 2560x1600. And apparently I'm not the only one.

I had it running at 5760x1200 pre-last patch. Haven't tried it since. Didn't notice any graphical anomalies.

Can you do a favor and see if it still works? And also windowed mode at 2560x1600 if it lets you choose that?
