Well worth a look ... click on one of the screenshots to see it ... Low Res

Thanks to Bongo ... here it is in ... High Res
3 more locations here ...High Res

It's a bit short but it looks like it is going to be amazing !!!
I love the way the leaf moves when the character brushes through it ...

I know it is only a tech video but it looks like widescreen to me ... :D

EDIT: Added a link to the High res version thanks to BongoTrumman

Wow that was really awesome. Every feature in it was really something extra. Can´t wait to play a game using that engine. I hope it won´t take to long.

I found a bigger video in 720p that you can download. Crytek 720p next-gen tech demo

Yea the leaf thing got me excited. That is what you can call an interactive environment.

Well, most current games wouldn't take advantage of it since you get so much frames you can't even see it :P.
But this baby will be able to use it all i imagine.

What do you think of the fully destructible environment then, as shown with the truck driving trough a building. 8)

I thought that everything was really exciting. The destructable building was nice but with the new PhysX processor it wasn´t new news. I haven´t seen that interactive environment before. And the shadows was great, the sunrays through the leaf was awesome, the dude was cool and the clouds looked really good. Hey as I said everything was great. I like the little things. Most games just put up a good looking map and thats it. It is the little details that gets me going. For example the "jumping" blood in F.E.A.R. was really good. Don´t get me wrong I like stunning looking games.
