I choose the 4400+ Toledo because i do a lot of photoshop and illustrator at the same time.
And when i do that i also have a lot of programs running in the background.
Things like Outlouk, Winamp, Azureus.
Therefore i decided to go dualcore.

I also heard the Toledo core is much better than the Sandy core so therefore i decided to spend some more money on the processor.

And there is indeed a possibility that games are going to be optimized in the future.
With that in mind i think the 4400+ Toledo is a great buy. :D

I'd offer to see how they stack up when we're done, but you're going crossfire and I can't match the with the single 7800GT I'm putting in, when I've got a second one we'll talk. ^__~

Well, i wont go crossfire right now. I'll be putting an old x700 in first.
Then in a month when I saved some money again i'll be buying the first X1900.
And then after another month i'll buy the second one.
So in about a month or two i'll be the WSGF Crossfire pimp.

Definitely go dual core... there's the future-proof aspect, but also it will give u a much smoother windows experience. ie. if Explorer lags, you can still grab control of your computer.

You hit the nail on the head there mate. 8) Sometimes i get 100% cpu load with certain programs and my pc is completely dead.
That won't happen with a dual core. :P

Oh man, stretched gameplay kind of sucks. I guess I'll go with 4:3 mode when I get it later today.

Stupid, stupid, stupid EA.

Has anyone else noticed the crappy shadows (I notice someone mentioned it above) that seem to be blocky and fidgety?

And is the only way to access AA through the video card panel for this game?

Yeah I just noticed those shadows too. Not sure how to fix 'em either. Anyone know the command to get this thing to quick load too? Deleting the EA logo movie helps a little, but I'd like to figure out which one is the opening movie and delete that too. Thx.

Do you guys have Ati graphics cards?
I believe this is a very common problem on Ati cards, i have it too.
I remember when Homeworld 2 came out there was a lot of commontion about the crappy jumpy shadows.
On NVidea cards it looked awesome but on Ati cards it was really bad.
It took 2 updates before they fixed the problem, maybe it's the same with BFMEII.
