Hi there,
I am looking to find solution to my poor frame rate I am getting using FSX and TH2GO Digital that I just baught.
My PC Spec are as follows:
Intel Core Duo E8400 @3.00G OC to 3.6GHz
Asus MB P5K-E.
4G Ram DDR2 @800Mhz
Nvidia GF 8800GTS OC 512MB PCI Express.
Vista home premium.
When I play the game (FSX) with 1 screen using 1280x1024 I get Frame rate 30 +.
As soon I switch to 3840 x 1024 the frame rate drop to 1 or 0.8/sec.
What am i doing wrong.
I am new to this , so please advise how can I rectify, as I cannot play the game.
Same for FS9.

If you're using windowed view, make sure the bottom of the window is raised just above the start bar. If you "Hide Start Bar" in Windows, still do not allow the bottom of the view window to touch the thin sliver of the start bar in any way. This helped me! I can't offer any suggestion if you're using full screen mode (other than try windowed mode and my example). Good luck!

you didn't mention it but have you gotten the sp's for fsx? The sp's have improved support for multiple cores. Also are you in dx 9? or dx10 preview?
