We always play games to relax ourselves, and we will find there are many games in the internet.
Some are free, and the others we need to pay for them.
Some people feel that free games are not interesting as those games which we pay for them.
But others will fell that it is a waste of money to pay for those games.

Maybe it is an old topic, but I wanna know ur opinion. :D

Hard to make a generalization like that. A lot of MMOs are going item mall now. 2009 was a really rough year for MMOs and they're trying everything possible to keep open, including experimenting with FTP, DLC and item malls. Some even do gold sales from thier own websites.

DDO is a prime example of them doing about everything to make a buck.

I don't think I've ever played a free game longer than a few minutes unless you count mods.

I personally like free to play games, or pay for the title once games (you know like most games). I might play more MMO's if they banded more games together that I could play on their subscription service. Similar to how PotBS did it (atleast I think they did it this way). I guess Xbox Live has spoiled me.

That's the $30 Sony Station subscription. It has a bunch of MMOs with it. I recently dropped that subscription because $30 was too rich for me. If it was $15 I would have kept it. I mostly don't play those MMOs anymore though. It's all the Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, PlanetSide, Pirates of the Burning Sea and Vangaurd. Used to also have Matrix Online but that folded.

Well the only MMORPG I've ever played was one of those free korean ones. Played it for ~ 3 months (About 6 years ago). Then decided all MMORPGs are EVIL! Worked out that it took ~25 hrs of clicking 3 different buttons and spending $100,000 on health potions to go up one level after killing 30,000 monsters, while about 30 other people were all grinding in the same area.... and went... WTF AM I DOING?!

So neither. I don't play any MMORPGs. and I don't play any free games, unless you count demos, solitaire and real life board games, like pictionary... or hang man. Though i guess you have to buy pictionary, or buy the paper and pens for hang man.
