Hi all .... Thought I'd share a time saving idea which can be used with multiple monitors on Windows XP systems (perhaps other OS too) by helping to reduce the number of mouse clicks you have to perform.
On my TH2GO system whenever I moved my cursor around my widescreen desktop I had to click on the window I wanted to make active. With this solution you no longer need to do that as it will activate whichever window your mouse pointer is hovering on.
1) First you'll need to download then install some free software from Microsoft called Powertoys and the MS download address for this is as follows
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx
2) From the START menu of programs select Powertoys for Windows TweakUI option
3) In the TweakUI menu open the Mouse sub-folder and select the X-Mouse option
4) Tick the first box i.e. Activation follows mouse (X-Mouse) and click on APPLY
Now when you go back to your desktop apps you should find that you no longer need to click on any open window to make it active as simply hovering your mouse pointer over it will activate it automatically.
Hope you find this tip useful?
