The original loading screens consist of 1080p images, which get covered by claw-shaped architectural elements in game :

These pictures stretch in Surround while the "claws" move to the outer edges of the display.

I didn't resize the original 1920x1080 pictures at any time, so each fixed screen is 5184x1080. They should thus look their best at both 5040x1050 and 5760x1200.

(I'd *love* to apply that technique to videos in games : create a big fat replacement file with lots of black to counter stretching. I don't know which software could be used to make this an automated process. If you have any hints, please contact me !)
