i want a fix for silent hill homecoming. it is possible? the game is old. very thx .....

I looked at it myself, it displays a black screen in Eyefinity/Surround, not sure what the issue is. In other words, it's not a quick fix.

I gave a look at Silent Hill HC. From what I see every time I try to set a resolution higher than 1 monitor the screen is completely black. I tried some tricks but didn't help. So I have no idea what to do with the game. I also read some strange things regarding this game and dual monitors setups also.

I posted a $75 bounty (or 10 BTC if prefered) on the fix of Tribes Ascend @ 5760x1080 with a usable HUD in the Flawless Widescreen thread. Figured I should ask here also. :)

I'm really dying to play this game with my 3 monitor setup in a usable way (ie, being able to see my stats and such).

Thanks :)

The latest build is built as 32-bit only. I'd like everyone who was having issues before to give this one a try and let me know if it works.

I tried r482 to see if Amalur still crashes and it does (I have Win7x64):

Happens when entering the sewers in the Teeth of Naros DLC (by travel or loading a save game) when the fix is or has been activated.
With the fixer running but not enabled you can load the level and afterwards enable the fix. You can even exit the sewers but not reenter afterwards.

EDIT:
Strange thing. It only seems to crash when entering the sewers using my last Quicksave. I can load 2 new savegames (one in the sewers, one before entering) just fine...
Here's what I did:

  • game crashed when entering the sewers

  • restarted savegame in front of sewer entrance without enabling fix

  • entered sewers, enabled fix, ran around a little, killed a few rats

  • saved

Then I can load saves while the fix is active...

Hello Dopefish.

Often with this latest release (r482) When i enable WSF with either Black Ops or World at War, the menus align properly, but the text is huge and unusable. Every time i have to exit and restart the game, and about half the time I have to restart more than once to get WSF to display properly. It's consistently occurring, but i can always get it working properly with game restarts. I've noticed no other pattern to it, and i didn't have this problem with the last program versions.

thanks

Steam updated now I'm back to using 1 monitor as 3 monitors are too stretched to be really playable.

  • Added CS:GO plugin. Thanks to HaYDeN for the memory pointers.

  • Added GRAW2 plugin. Thanks to HaYDeN for providing the memory pointers.

  • Added a plugin for Transformers: War For Cybertron. Currently it only supports automatic display detection and it uses your desktop aspect-ratio. Thanks to HaYDeN for providing the offset needed for this.

I won't mention Skydrift, Mass Effect, Singularity and Sonic Generations....

Thanks for acknowledging the share number of hours invested in some of these titles to fix them (eg. GRAW2) in a entirely obscured SVN log - wouldn't be so bad if you actually asked... or gave credit where credit was due instead of just ripping it off and passing it off as your own work.

Good day, sir.
