I am trying to get these games to run in 1280x720p on my Samsung HJP5663WX DLP monitor. My system is a dell 8400 3.2 Ghz with ATI x800xt 256mb vid card. I have powerstrip installed and my windows setting is 1280x720 60Hz 32 bit color. These games will not allow me to set resolutions above 800x600 in F1's 3D cube render setup or Maddens in game video setting menu. If anyone could give me the settings to force the highest res possible it would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

I think I may have stumbled upon a generic patch for most EA Sports titles... can you do me a favour and check if there is a file name DXWRAP.DLL anywhere in the game's folder (most probably in the "bin" folder)?

Infact, anybody else who may be reading this who has an EA Sports title installed, check for me also. I have confirmed it exists in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004.

f1c has a config.ini file in the root directory which has a resolution setting inside - but it's this weird videomode setting which controls the resolution, and unfortunately the numbers are not universal. You can do trial/error changing that number worse come to worse.

3dconfig.exe should recognize any available resolution settings. You might try reinstalling monitor drivers (even the "default monitor" driver, if that's what's being used) and rebooting, then trying again.
