What's the status on this? There are mods nonstop for Sonic games yet this most important of fixes has yet to appear.

I've tried messing around with the game's files, even tried running it with the Generations plugin ( they do run on the same game engine ) to no avail.

Thanks in advance.

Would be nice to see a fix for this game sometime. Haven't even tried it yet. Probably will at some time.

I know there's an offset in the SLW exe that can adjust the aspect ratio which has only one 4 byte entry that has the widescreen float. PCs have those codes backwards which would be this byte that I found there:

Thanks, I've also made another fix that also unstretches the HUD and perfectly removes the borders using my first cheat engine table (with auto assembler scripts this time). Also, what version did you use for SLW because there are patches that have different offsets for the exe and I don't know if my cheat engine file will work on all patches for the game?
