Sorry it's so long but I didn't know what exact bits to post.

EDIT: I was going to patch Deus Ex, but my version matched the one used in the Detailed Report.

I copied and pasted your text into my deuxex.ini file. All I changed was the CD path line. The game ran fine for me at 1680x1050.

Just recently, someone else with a Viewsonic VX2025wm said they were having trouble with 1680x1050. I wonder if there's a problem with the monitor.

Just as an experiment, try setting the color depth to 32 bits. The line for this is right below the resolution line. Also, can you remove your .ini file contents now? I don't need to look at them any more.

I tried setting the Depth to 32 still the same. Would it have anything to do with my video card (FX 5200)? It's pretty old and doesn't really run anything well at native res. I run America's Army at 1680x1050 to see if my monitor can handle it and it runs fine (well it's a slideshow but at least the res works).
