ah well, gamestar.hu, sais a patch is coming in this week and they updated this info with this: "they heard that WS support is coming soon"... so I hope it'll be in this patch or somehow they finally got this fix in this and other EA games too!

I'll believe that when I see it. As far as I know the only EA game that will actually support widescreen is Crysis. And that is only because Crysis was long in developement at Crytek before EA bought a minority stock in the company and the rights to their IP. Thus far I'm still seeing better widescreen support in games that came out before widescreen monitors were even being used. - That's just sad.

If you leave it streched, it will be ugly :)
Just try it. The stretched mode is only 1024*768 for me. With uniws patcher you get true 1440*900 resolution(or bigger) It will look much better!

All we need is a camera hack, something we can back the camera back a little bit to view more of the screen. That should solve the -vert.

according to ea widescreen is a disadvantage, which is true. So is better ping, bigger monitor, faster hard drives, better mouse, better keyboards, faster processor, faster graphics card , better sound card. O wait you never thought of this? Stfu ea.
