The 3840x1024 resolution wont be available in the graphics menu, but you should see a "LABEL" option, thats the tweaked resolution. :wink:

OK, I've managed to get 'LABEL' finally for my 5760x1200, but I cannot get it working with SoftTH. Probably all TH solutions here were for Matrox TH2G devices, but I have no such a thing, got 2 adapters instead.

After hardcoding 5760x1200 into the dll, the game shows 1920x1200 on my middle screen, left and right remain showing windows desktop. Any attempts to hook SoftTH lead to an error msgbox kinda "Prototype encountered an error and needs to be closed".

Any solutions for SoftTH?

Was able to run ti in windowed mode for all three screens with Hawkeye ShellInit.

After running "prototype.exe windowed" launch this script:
Position Window,prototype,*,-1920,0,5760,1200

Awful fps even on low settings. will try to fix it somehow

Gotta love this game, I miss the bullet time slow mo every time you target an enemy.. wish it was in every game so I could abuse it by spamming targeting :P

Seeing many people in here getting 1400+ 16:10 resolutions...

Played the game on 1680x1050 and 1440x900, no tweaking, just plain game... Resolutions were in res change options... And other settings were maxed (4xAA, High Shadows and Textures, Vsync on).

I'm currently not at home, will post the images as soon as i get home and reinstall the game (low hard disk space :lol: )

For people wondering what i run, i have:
Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo @ 3GHz, Nvidia 8800GT 512MB, 6GB DDR2 RAM, Vista Ultimate x64

I just did a res hack for 5760x1080 for a friend, waiting for him to tell me if it worked. I should try 5760x1200 on my computer and see how it runs and looks.

Is FOV automatic or do we need hack/edit that also?

Its automatic, im curious to know how the 5870 will run this game at 5760x1200, specially if all maxed. Only after the latest nvidia driver i could enjoy this game with decent FPS, all maxed, at 5040x1050 - the 191.07 driver gave me a 90% FPS boost.

I guess I'll try it here in a bit soon as I boot up this L4D2 demo and see how it looks.

Edit: works great 5760x1200 all settings on high with 2x AA and I am at 30fps low 45fps high

totally playable and if I found myself in a situation where I needed more fps I would just turn off the 2x AA
