Try setting it to "Auto" I juz tested it, when i set to "auto" it set at "4:3"... Oh well, i guess i have to play it at "16:9", and it definately looks better (doesnt look scretched) compared to "4:3". So, actually GRAW PC doesnt have "16:10" afterall?... (juz wanna confirm this.. ). Cheers :) |

Very strange ... if I set it to Auto with three screens I get the correct aspect ratio for three screens ... so why wouldn't it do 16:10 ? ... :? Try this ... Go to ... C:Program FilesUbisoftGhost Recon Advanced WarfighterDatasettings Right clicking on the "renderer_settings.xml" file and going down to "Open with" Look at and change this variable ... I think this setting is for 16:10 ... |

That is weird because I know for a fact that when I had my 2405 running at 1920x1200, I used the "Auto" aspect ratio and it set the ratio to 16:10. Although I imagine that your problem is because you had to resort to editing files for your given resolution rather than being able to choose it from the in-game menu. I suspect that the engine looks at the resolution set in the in-game settings and sets aspect ratio accordingly. You could always try setting the in-game to a lower-resolution 16:10 ratio (like 1280x800), setting aspect ratio to "auto", apply the settings, exit the game, re-edit the xml file and then set the 1680x1050 resolution. Perhaps it will then "auto" to 16:10.... Or you could just do what Paddy suggests. |
