Whu? I've been using a custom FOV for a while and I've seen no issues.
Then again, I only bump it up tp 85

When you get the sinper weapon go to blue scope zoom. The zoom range is much smaller when you change the fov. I think this may affect other weapon zoom distances as well.

I am not sure if it is a non-80 fov of if it just the act of changing the fov that screws it up.

Another thing is that all the rendered cut-scenes are anamorphic.

If you change the fov you are zooming out the cut-scenes which were perfect before.

I do not see a high maintenance solution as justified if it ends up causing these problems.

But hey, if you triplehead you do not really have a choice, so to each their own.

GoW's FOV in widescreen is perfect for me... just over the shoulder. I'm pretty sure the game was designed for widescreen, so the FOV feels right, unlike say BioShock, which felt zoomed in despite dev comments on it being designed that way.
