2xHD6990 in crossfire and all I get from this one is 30 fps at 1920x1200 and maximum 20 fps at 6000x1200. it's a shame

Same here, I have 2x6990's and at 2560x1600 I'm getting 22-24 fps with Ultra. High is around 30. Definitely something wrong.

This is pretty dissappointing multi monitor support for a big budget AAA title. The initial login screen allows choosing of resolution but for my setup it only lets me choose 1920 x 1080 (obviously does not properly give native support for eyefinity). In the SkyrimPrefs.ini I can manually set the res to 5760 x 1080. The game appears to be Hor + which is good but the menus are messed up at the load screen and the ingame menus are too zoomed in. I get clipping at the character gen screen and within the game as well. You can go into the ingame console by pressing the tilde key ` and set the FOV which appears to work well. At my res i found fov 100 to be good. I am now running a radeon 6990 in my rig and the fps in this game is crap. But I reckon that will be sorted soon when AMD release a new CAP that specifically deals with Skyrim. It would be awesome if we could find a fix for these damn menus.

Yeah definitely! Im playing with 6970 crossfire, im getting the 20-35 fps @ 5040x1050 high settings.

haha ( I remind myself of all those trolls)
Still, I think I found a slight fix. I got a 10+ fps average boost by using RadeonPro FORCE Anti-Aliasing Profile "Bioshock" with MVPUMode "Alternate Frame Rendering"

edit: RadeonPro Bioshock/Alternate Frame Rendering DEFINITELY gives a 10-15+fps boost. Im going to try other profiles to see if I can get a even better boost.
edit2: Seems like any of the RadeonPro Force Anti-Aliasing Profiles work better then the stock one, but Bioshock is still 3-5fps higher then the other profiles I've tried.

so when i started playing on eyefinity i noticed i was getting like 25-30 fps on high settings like some other people have claimed. i found a weird way to fix it. do ctrl+alt+del while playing then press cancel and you will be brought back to skyrim and your fps should jump up to 55-60 fps. That worked for me at least. i think it has something to do with the menu being all stretched out, because sometimes after you do the ctr+alt+del fix if you go back into a menu option where its stretched fps will drop back down to 25-30 fps. but then you just do ctrl+alt+del again.

has anyone found out the exact values to change in the .ini file to make menu not be stretched? if thats even how you change menu scaling

Forgive me, but both AMD and nVidia give developers support to make sure features like this work correctly.

'Works, the menus are borked' isn't 'supported' in my book, but I'm becoming extremely demanding because more and more devs are basically fobbing PC gamers off. The more lazy they get, the more picky I get. And the less likely it is that they get my money.

...*sigh*... that's why Indie games seem to be just about all I actually play recently.

...

I'll play this (it's shipped, should arrive tomorrow) but I won't bother loading it on my Surround rig until there is a proper fix for the menus. A 3rd party mod if I must, but I'd prefer actual support from Bethesda, makes me feel like I'm actually a valued customer, rather than the shit on their boots that happens to have paid them money.

So I haven't seen anyone mention if Nvidia Surround is working? Or what the performance is like? Everyone that has posted uses ATI/Eyefinity.

I hear you mate. Torchlight, Two Worlds 2, Minecraft etc.. all low budget indi's yet they handle eyefinity straight "out of the box" so to speak. It is astounding that companys like Bethesda, with such massive budgets and huge sales, can't be arsed to support ultra-wide res or multi monitor properly. The lazy buggers rely on the gaming community to fix problems that the game never should have shipped with.

AMD users, Don't forget to Force Process High Priority
