I'm a total newbie to these forums, but I've used Wogg's hacks before in the past. I just got my hands on Need for Speed Underground 2 and desperately wanted some custom resolutions, so after 10 minutes with a hex editor I managed to create a patch.

To keep things simple, I just added the patch to Wogg's UniWS patcher... simply download the modified patches.ini and save it over your existing patches.ini. NFSU2 should appear as the last game in the patcher menu.

Have fun :)

mird-OC and Woggs,
Again, thanks for your great work. Is it possible that you could help with a how-to guide to hack other games to use custom rez? Any insights you can provide will much appreciated. For examples, how did you do the ones you have done? Can all games be modified? I would like to do one for the Mechwarrior 4 Merc. The registry and ini mod is not working as someone has suggested. The strange thing is that only the training mission works but nothing else. Thanks.

Wogg, this little program is great. Was wondering if you could add some of the Madden games, particularly 2004. Would also love a tutorial on how to write these patch files for particular games, creating a larger database for all of us to use.

waitttttttt what do you apply the patches.ini to??

Use the UniWS .exe that was provided earlier in this post, in conjunction with the .ini file, to patch the .exe of the target game.

If you've not read all of this thread, do so. It will likely answer your question. :)
