Happens with jackfuste's .exe just the same, sadly... and yeah, without the game it's silly hard to fix stuff like this, no need to apologize at all.
Just was hoping that maybe this were something someone more experienced than me could easily identiy.^^

I'm looking for 5760x1080 or triple monitors on DQ11. Can anyone suggest how to edit .exe?

Does this game generate black bars at 3440x1440 or does it simply fill the screen? I know some games (Overwatch) aren't true 21:9 but will still fill the screen. I prefer that over the black bars thing even if the resolution isn't true 3440x1440.

If it does fill is it distorted/stretched at all?

Yes, like they say, in-game it's okay but in the title screen and the transitions, the right 1/3 of the screen shows something "strange" (black bar, white bar, the background of the zone you were...)

Thanks anyway for your help! :)

Any chance of running at 6880x2880?

There is no stuttering?
Is it ultrawide running on the cutscene?

A Japanese developed UE4 game doesn't have 21:9 support? (or anything besides 16:9?)

Shocking.

I assume it still renders Vert-?

It's not a patch, it's a hacked .exe -- you need to replace the game's original .exe with this one... but since this seems to be new to you, first of all and most importantly: back up the original file!
That makes it much easier to go back and forth, since then you have the two separate .exe files and can just swap them out.

I don't know what exactly you meant by "extracted to game file", but you need to make sure to put the new .exe file in the exact same directory the original one is in, which is found in:
Code:
\steamapps\common\DRAGON QUEST XI\Game\Binaries\Win64\

After you have done that, you should only need to set your game in the internal options to fullscreen after having loaded a savegame, and you should be set. Well, "set"... aside from the major glitches still in this first iteration.
