First off, Thanks for the fix. Is there any way to turn the crosshairs off? While you're fix is absolutely wonderful and seems to have fixed the 3D images, the 2D ones, in particular the crosshair is a little obnoxious. I would rather not have a crosshair to begin with and for some reason Sledgehammer omitted an option to toggle it on and off. In all the previous titles it was possible to turn it off by adding this:
set cg_crosshairAlpha "0"
set cg_crosshairAlphaMin "0"
set cg_crosshairDynamic "0"
OR
seta cg_DrawCrosshair "1"

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

edit: Matter of fact turning all the 2d elements off would be lovely. I know when to press F, and I know where the objective is already, the constant reminders aren't necessary.
Thanks again

@Peer_Review
i feel with u, most pc games today dont offer needed settings anymore, but i dont want to add more customisations as needed to render the screen correctly, everything else goes to much in cheating direction (i know that sounds weird, but modificating memory on the fly is allways a risk, specially cvars are protected i dont want to touch them).

@coortex
well all i can say is set the right stuff in the .ini and it should work, also set it to auto = 1 to be sure it is enabled allways.
