Has anyone gotten widescreen to work with this game? I tried changing couple settings in a ini file(menofvalor.ini? i think) but the games changes it back when it runs.

Try setting the .ini to read only.

I've not seen this, so I'm not sure. Is it a custom engine, or something 'standard' like Quake 3 or Unreal -engine powered?

Hello ...
I got it going at 1920x1200 ....

Before playing the game (at all) ... edited the... H:2015Men of ValorVIETNAMSYSTEMDefUser.ini ... binding the F4 key to the resolution required. ... i.e.

F4=setres 1920x1200x32

I had to change the properties to be not read only to edit it and then I changed it back to read only.

I run the game ... just press F4 to change the resolution.
The FOV is automatically corrected.
Works in the game and cutscenes ...

Enjoy ... :)

Some screens ...
Firstly before the F4 key is pressed ...

After the F4 key is pressed ...

Very strange that it should work for me and not for you ...
and the line ...

F4=setres 1920x1200x32

is in your user.ini ... ?

Yep. Tried both defuser.ini and user.ini. Even tried F4=setres 800*600*32 to see if the game may have problems with the desired resolution. Nothing happens when I hit F4 in the game.

Maybe I am doing something wrong. I will keep on trying. 8)

Are you using the 1.3 patch?

MoV v1.3 Updated FIRST Edit
Men of ValorVIETNAMSYSTEMdefuser.ini
Men of ValorVIETNAMSYSTEMuser.ini
[Engine.Input]
*
F4=
F5=setres 1680x1050x32
F6=
*

NOW IT WORKS ONLY WHEN :
JUST DELETE THE DEFAULT PROFILE FILE.
Men of ValorVIETNAMSYSTEMPROFILE_Shepard
Men of ValorVIETNAMSYSTEMPROFILE_YourName...

Your could create a new Name after that Shepard Default Profile is recreated through the Engine any your Personilized NameProfile will be based on that.

Then Start Mov new small error window but its only the new Profile Recreation after the second start the F4 Function works perfectly. Without any Errors you have do do only your Shortcuts and Settings etc.

Your old Savegames work also you can load them the newest and all played Missons will be unlocked in the MissionLevelselector
