is there any way of getting this game to work in widescreen? i know is really old, but its a classic for LAN

There should be two registry keys that do it. Not sure what they are (don't have the game installed, and can't remember what they were from the solution). But I know it can be done.

Try typing GTA into Find in Regedit - of course, as always, registry editing is at your own risk. :)

Then you should find the references:

"window_width" and "window_height" and change them to the res you want.

Thanks for the trick. The games looks fine in widescreen when you first try it!

Unfortunatly, if you attempt to get a mission by phone, only the first line of text is displayed, which makes the game unplayable...
Here's what I'm talking about :

I cant find that in my registry!? I dont have DMA Desing .... but i have Rockstar Games but there I cant find it. Is it maybe cause i have the English/German Version!? PLS HELP
