I can not get widescreen to work. I installed the game, updated it to 1.4 using the EA patch, then downloaded the no-cd crack and replaced the exe. I ran uniws and it patched it with no errors. I can even open up uniws and it will still show it patched. Then when I start the game and pick 640x480 like it tells me to, it runs at 640x480. Any idea what is wrong?

It seems that both NFSU and NFSU 2, as well as Hot persuit does't seem to be stable with the widescreen hack in place. I'm trying to find out what the patcher does, can we do it manually?
