Hey guys,
So I bought SimCity 4 and downloaded UniWS. I've set the game to run in 800x600 as the details box says I need to, and the game successfully finds the SimCity 4.cfg file in My DocumentsSimCity 4

BUT, I can't enter a custom resolution - the boxes don't respond when I click on them, and the patch button is greyed out.

Does anyone have a fix for this, or alternatively, can anyone just give me a SimCity 4.cfg file that is set to 1680x1050?

Thanks for your help!
~Hans

weird nobody responded to this considering its this site that created the tool .... and im having the same problem.

nobody out there who created this thing able to give some input?

-----------------------

Considered myself insanely lucky to have found a widescreen patch for Sim City 4 .... so I downloaded your UNIWS ....

But it wont let me type anything in the resolution boxes! It finds the sim city config file no problem, and all is well, but I can't get the cursor to go into the width and heigh boxes.

What gives?

My resolution is a new Sony Vaio - 1366x768.

-----------------------

Edit - UniWS is pointless. I got it to work by following these instructions carefully:

Works on mine even higher than the resolution he was trying for... :)

Through trial and error, this is the only one that works for me:
"C:Program FilesMaxisSimCity 4 DeluxeAppsSimCity 4.exe" -CustomResolution:enabled -intro:off -r1440x900x32 -f

Just use that as a shortcut. Obviously change the path and such to fit your directories. If you do not have the CustomResolution:Enabled it will not work. Replace -r1440x900x32 to whatever size you want it.
