Since Bloodrayne 2 was recently released on Steam, I wanted to know if it supported (or could be made to support) widescreen resolutions. I found a thread that shows how to make it support widescreen ([url]http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/5767]), but I do not know if the same method would work for the Steam version, because even if the Steam Bloodrayne executable is not encrypted, it will probably get overwritten every time you run the game because the exe was modified from the original. Has anyone bought the Steam version of BR2 and managed to get widescreen working? Thanks. |

I know it might seem redundant to bump my own (old) thread, but apparently there's a demo of BR2 on Steam released now (http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=game&AppId=3850&), so instead of buying it blind, this would be a good test of whether the Steam version of the game can be modified to support widescreen in the method described in the previous post's link. Just in case anyone's curious. EDIT: This is irritating. The demo is identical to the original demo, in that you take the folder it creates and dump it elsewhere away from Steam, it will work entirely without steam. The WS modification works, but there's still no way to determine if the final EXE of the full version was encrypted when modified to work with Steam. Oh well. |
