In the config there are 1680*1050 resolution

Is it just me or does this not look right??

Looks ok to me, I'll be trying the demo for this in a short while so I'll be able to gauge it. An easy test is to bump the res to a lower 4:3 ratio, then flip back and forth through your screenshots. Then you'll know for sure.
