hello! I want to change the resolution. I have a 24" monitor so I want the resolution 1920x1200 But the game doesn't give me this opportunity in the resolution menu(i can't find any choice for 1920x1200)!. Can anybody help me? |

How much memory does your Graphics card have ? From the Demo Readme ... vii) Why can’t I choose a higher screen resolution?I guess it is the same for the retail. |

Check the screen ratio option too. |

Is there a workaround to let you select higher resolutions even if your system can't handle it? Playing this game on a 24" with a resolution of 1280x1024 is terrible. I'd rather lower everything down and use 1680x1050. |

I found the solution that lets you use all the available resolution and remove the restrictions! So go to C:Program FilesCodemastersGRIDsystem and open the hardware_settings_restrictions.xml with your notepad. At the bottom of the file somewhere says : You can change the "maxWidth option into whatever resolution you want(I put "1920" because I work on a 24" monitor). That's it!Now I have available all the resolution until 1920x1200 inside the game options.Of course you can also use higher or lower resolutions. Enjoy! |

Thank you for finding the correct way to set custom resolutions. Why don't you put in maxWidth = 2560? |
