(c) 2007 Silver Style / Playlogic / RTL. English release in 2008. Just for the record, this adventure game is a total failure as far as widescreen is concerned, and then more. In Simon The Sorcerer 4 you're limited to one resolution only : 1024x768. There's a simon4.conf in the savegame folder that you can edit in Notepad, but all resolutions except 1024x768 are broken, ws or not. Looks like the whole game was formatted to 1024x768 and won't tolerate even other 4:3 values. The game launches in other res's but half of the screen is a solid pink on which shadows are cast, characters are misplaced during cutscenes, etc. Lower res's are Hor-/Vert-. Windowed mode doesn't help. I thought I'd post some screenies but now the game simply refuses to start even with default settings :lol: G(arbage)OTY ? |
