Hello !

I just purchased a 24" WS (16:10) and wanted to play Battle For Middle Earth2 in 1920:1200 ! It seems to work with a path in the application like this:

"C:GamesBFME 2lotrbfme2.exe" -xres 1920 -yres 1200

But when I play the game I see less on the screen than compared to the time I used to play with my 19" ! :confused:

What's wrong ??

EDIT: I downloaded an .exe which should, according to the user who postet it, fix the problem.... but it didn't ! :( I still can't zoom out any further... !

You will have a reduced vertical FOV in widescreen resolutions because of how the game treats wide aspect ratios (see Detailed Report).

I'm not sure what .exe you downloaded...but have you tried the Widescreen Enhanced mod from my sig? It elevates the game's camera from 300 to 600 and provides a much better FOV. Be aware that the mod is almost certainly not compatible with regular online MP, so if that's what you want to play you might be stuck with the game's default behavior.
