Widescreen Gaming Forum

He everybody this is something that is bothering me in COD4. Im running my system with amd cpu duo core 2.9 ghz with xfx 740i mobo and two 8600gt 512mb sli video cards on an ACER w223x monitor. now everything else i play has no problems with changing the display to do widescreen, just installed fear2 without any problems changing to widescreen because it is native. but with cod4 which i have read is native and I have also read the deal about changing the cfg_fov in profile of the game. first, there is no such animal in my config file and second the problem is that when i switch to widescreen settings within the game, I get a second image on the screen with a blinking in and out of the video display anyone understand why this only happens in this game. should post that I am running Windows Vista Home Premium. thanks :x
