Hello

I recently got NFS Carbon but it doesn't support widescreens like i found out.
I cheked the widescreengaming wiki and tried using UNIWS but it didn't work...
maybe I did something wrong but I'm not sure. What could be the problem?

I have windows 7 ultimate 64bit edition and I'm using a HP w2007v 1680x 1050 monitor.
(Which was a big problem as well, because I couldn't find right drivers for it. Well actually i got some other drivers but the text isn't sharp and i can see some stripes on the screen. But while gaming everything is OK. But it would be good if you can find a solution for that too.)

But the priority number 1 is still the NFS Carbon, could it be my operating system or something why the UNI patch doesn't work.
When i copy that text that was given in wiki to the ini file it looks OK. When i run the program it only shows the NFS Carbon as the only option and i can locate its installation folder but i can't enter the resolution that i'd like and can't patch it.
Also it didn't delete everything else from that ini file, do I have to delete it and only put that Carbon stuff in it?
And I extracted that program to my desktop or do I have to put it to the NFS Carbon's installation folder.

I'd really need your help guys!
