Well, it`s actually fairly easy if you are familiar with the
Uniws tool:
You select the game from the dropdown list of games, and then you can either browse and point to the folder of the game`s executable or just use the very helpful 'Find it for me' button. The latter option may take a bit long depending on how big your hard disk is, because the search engine takes the drives in alphabetical order, so if you have the game installed in say, drive G: or H: , then you might wanna do the browsing manually.
After pointing the program to the executable`s folder (if you did it right you should see the 'Screen Width' and 'Height' fields as being filled and not empty like they were, usually with the default 640x480 resolution), now you can replace the default resolution values with the new resolution you`d like to use. In my case I had to type 1366 and 768 (ratio aspect=16.9)
Then you start up your game and go to the Options menu and change the game to 640x480 resolution and it should run in your assigned resolution.
Here are some screenshots too:
This is 4:3 ratio (1024x768)
This is 16:9 ratio (1366x768)
The MGL classification is Vert- unfortunately (like most, if not all, of the other NFS games) and the HUD gets stretched (this was actually what i meant by my first post, here the minimap doesn`t look so bad but in drift and streetx races i think it looks very blurry, so i was looking for some hack or something to make it look normal).
Feel free to let me know if i posted too much or too less info. For now I think I covered the things you asked for.
Glad to be able to give something back to this very helpful community and forum.
