Hi there,

I was wondering if some of the pro's here could help with getting 21:9 working in this game. It's built in Unity, but doesn't detect 21:9 resolutions at all, they aren't an option in the menu,

Really disappointed CDPR did such a bad job supporting anything that isn't 16:9. 16:10 also ins't supported.

What's strange is that the cutscene art is usually in 21:9, but they letterbox it in 16:9, so you get black bars on all 4 sides of the screen on a 21:9 monitor.

I don't think the Gwent boards were modeled to support 21:9, but it should work in the overworld fine.

Here's an exe:

Thanks for the help. :)

- I've tried HEX replacing the classic 3FE38E39 but no luck.
- Also tried messing with the Registry entry, no luck either :(

I think this one is pretty much hard-coded to it's bones.

Right now different statements fly over at RED:
Code:
GOG support told me that the devs are aware of this and apparently working on true Ultrawide support in a patch.

Someone from CDPR said on the Gwent forum that they not have any plans to make 21:9 version at this moment.

I'm actually the one who was told by GOG main support that the game devs were working on implementing 21:9 Ultrawide.

A day later, I contacted Gwent Support, as GOG support advised me to do so, and they in turn were utterly useless, replying only a standard "no information at this time".

Then later on that same day, someone on the Thronebreaker subforum at GOG told me that on the polish CDPR forums, a game dev apparently said that there were no plans at all to add Ultrawide support.
But the latter isn't really clear on wether that's aimed at Gwent (Multiplayer) or Thronebreaker, the standalone singleplayer.

Either way, commmunications are all over the place, and frankly I am quite disappointed that this is the case with CDPR... would've expected that kind of "We can't be bothered"-attiude from EA or Activision, but not CDPR.
Quite a shame to have been wrong.
