DiRT 3 - Nvidia Surround - GTX 670 3-way SLI:

So, I had this game on Steam which I had yet to play, and decided to give it a spin (no pun intended ). Turns (no pun intended ) out that it's a very fun racing game to play. I even got a controller for games like this and others down that road that I will be playing. The control and feedback in DiRT 3 are very well-tuned, and make the player feel very confident in his/her ability to grip the track and/or drift around those turns. I'm interested in reading your feedback on this game! Are you using a controller? Wheel + pedals? Are you a competitive DiRT 3 racer? Feel that DiRT 3 is lacking in realism? Have another favorite racing series?

F1 2010, 11 and 12 are the only games for a long time that I've been able to use a wheel well with compared to a pad.

Whenever I use a wheel with any other game my times go to {INSERT BAD WORD}, I can get better times on DiRT with an xbox controller over a wheel. Yes they are the same company creating the game but I think it's something to do with the style of game. I think it's rally games that need those little tweaks to steer and drift that you "don't feel" with just a wheel, where as switch out of cockpit view and use a pad you can see what's going on rather than having to feel it.

It's weird, playing racing games with a gamepad/controller actually satisfies my craving for driving really fast from time to time. :rockout: If I were to purchase a wheel+pedal setup, would the Logitech products be a worthy option?

QFT! G27 is expensive (although it droped in price lately) But you get a good wheel, a H shifter and pedals!
But there are also cheaper wheels on the market who do a great job!

P.S don't even try Dirt 3 with manual H Shifter!
