I can confirm that these remove the horizontal line glitching in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It's nice because I just installed my second 5870 today with the older profiles and experienced the glitch for the first time. Then I noticed the April 7th profiles and loaded 'em up! The game played flawlessly in Eyefinity during the 4-5 rounds I played afterward. :rockout

The "profiles" are not end user profiles, but a mechanism for us to patch the profiles that are stored within the driver ourside of a driver release. So, if you installed Cat 10.3a and then installed the update then you'll have the latest profiles that are available.

Just to confirm, these are cumulative, correct? As long as you get the latest, there is no need to track down old ones. And, if you have to reinstall your OS or clean sweep the driver, no need to do incremental applications, correct?

There's a nice FAQ about the application profiles updates over at rage3d - Link

The answer to your question according to the FAQ is:
"Older versions of Application Profiles don't need to be installed, just those newer than the driver release - for example, if you install Cat 10.3, you don't need the 10.2 Profile Update."
