Looks neat, but I guess the most interesting part will be to see what this product, almost a year after the release of the hardware demanding it, is going to do for the folks that have been struggling through the flashing screens in addition to the other strange behaviour that occurs with various adapters.

After owning the ATI hardware for nearly a year myself, heck, I'd just be happy if I could reboot the computer and have it come back up with the same resolution that it went down with.

This is what really worries me about the whole Eyefinity Experience.

I got a couple of the adapters from ATI and was able to test them. They work perfectly.

Well lets hope they come to market and work aswell as Ibrim's article.

If i still have issues with my DP connected panel flickering and problems with the bezel management then i'm afraid it's time to put my hand in my pocket and go green team.

You need to edit the article

"The new adapter costs just $30, requires no external power, and in testing does suffer from any of the blanking issues that drove original adopters to passive DP > VGA adapters."

I assume that meant to say DOESN'T suffer from :P

Canceled my order for the sapphire vga and switched it to this Accell single link adapter. Hopefully it works as well as described.

... They work perfectly.

Thanks, that's all I needed to hear. Finally, I can feel completely confident purchasing one of these adapters for Eyefinity, and know that there is no chance for any more strange issues on restarts and such.

Got mine from NCIX in 1 day. No issues at all, no blanking or flashing or oddball res changes. Just works like it should.

Eyefinity is great.

For those that have this adapter, does your monitor pluged in DP boot up fine?

I have a DP to VGA adapter and I have to replug the connection when I boot the computer up. It runs perfectly fine after that. Not a big deal, I'm just wondering if this adapter would fix the problem.
