I recently had a gaming computer built, I am using an HD7970-DC2T-3GD5 ASUS with 3x Samsung S27B550 monitors. The video card has 2x DVI and 4x display ports. The monitors have have VGA, HDMI, HDMI/MHL ports. I have gotten two of the monitors too work via HDMI too display port cable and HDMI too DVI cable. Using a second HDMI too display port cable will not work for the third monitor. Please help me with some solutions too get the third monitor too work.

For three monitors you need an Active Display Port Adapter in order to use that third monitor. Right now I am not sure they make a Active DP Adapter that goes from DP to HDMI. The only ones I have seen are Passive.
I think the only thing that may work for you is if you were to use a DP to DVI Adapter that is Active and then use a DVI to HDMI cable to go to one of the Monitors.

What I would do is get three DVI to HDMI cables and one Active DP to DVI Adpater. Use both DVI slots on your GPU then the DP to DVI Adapter. That should work. In theory. :)

Thank you for the quick responses. I'm new too this kind of setup so please forgive me but too avoid having too change up the cables
Monitor 1. HDMI -> DP
Monitor 2. HDMI -> DP
Monitor 3. HDMI -> DVI (Cable) with attached adapter ( http://www.umart.com.au/newindex2.phtml?bid=2 )
So all three monitors would be running from three DP's? Would that work using that setup?

I am not totally sure but in theory that should also work. I am also new to Eyefinity as well but from what I read on it so far as long as one of the monitors is using an Active Adapter then it should work for three monitors. That and you are Not mixing a DVI and HDMI slots on the GPU. Since you are using all DP slots then you should be fine if you get that Active Adapter for the DVI to HDMI cable.

At the very least you can try it that way to see if it works and if not then maybe look into getting the other cables.
