New bug: I can't see a mouse cursor on my DP->VGA monitor anymore, this bug wasn't present in the hotfix version of the previous Catalyst drivers. On the plus side hotkey switching now works after I went in, and told it to save the profile again - without having to unplug and plug the adapter back in.

You guys with working hotkeys and shortcuts are lucky, mine still do not. Maybe a driver reinstall is necessary... hmmmmm

Well , It doesn't matter anymore I guess .

After Installing the 10.1 drivers My dirt 2 benchmarks went from 70 FPS to 30-35 FPS. After trying several things without any Improvement. I Just went back to the 9.12 hotfix and got my 70 FPS back.

Absolutely ridiculous. I was pretty stoked about this upcoming driver thinking it was going to be the big Improvement and instead it was total fail.

I had the same thing!

BUT i found that 10.1 had disabled my second GPU core on the 5970 so wiped all drivers and installed 10.1 agan and it was fixed :D But i was getting alot more than 70fps in Dirt 2 :P

Can I ask. what FPS you are getting with your 5970.

One of the things I did try was wiping the drivers. but no luck. although I did hear someone say that they went into ccc 3D settings and reset settings to default and it worked for them . I just haven't had the time to mess with it

I have cursor problem in DP monitor now. First time I noticed this was a little bit ago it just started doing it.

I noticed it while I was in the menu on BFBC2 Beta as well.

If I hover over text the cursor is like a black blob/box.

Right ive tried two reinstall of the 10.1 drivers and in dirt 2 and other games im getting half the perfomance as others have stated it seems to be disableing the 2nd gpu.

Im presently running 2x5870 and only getting 30fps with all settings set to ultra or high exept post processing set to medium and MSAA set to 4x.

On the 9.12 hotfix drivers i was getting over 50fps

Can dave come back to forum members on this issue as it seems to be affecting allot of people inculding peeps i can see on the forums at hardocp as well.

There was an ATI 10.1 Hotfix released shortly after the 10.1. Apparently it fixes some issues with crossfire maybe it is worth a try if you havn't already updated to it.

You can find some discussion related to it here. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=314311

This is basically Cat 10.1 with a Crossfire X and control panel AA profile for Mass Effect 2.
