As per the KB article, please contact ASUS and request a new BIOS if they have not already made one available for download. They are aware of this.

Asus don't have an update on their website and when I emailed them about the issue including a link to the kbarticle they responded with.

"We do not have BIOS for EAH5850 Series.
Please take out your graphic card, try to clean its golden connectors with a rubber, check if there is any hardware issue, and then reseat it back tightly."

It seems tech support are not aware of the problem.

Since there is no bezel menagment with this version, I have no reason to download new drivers because everything works perfect with 9.12 version for me.
I guess it was too soon to expect them to implement this feature so early after they said they are working on it.
When ever they come out with it, it will be most welcome, as long as they do make it at all.

I upgraded from 9.11 to 10.1, having skipped 9.12. I upgraded for Dragon Age support.

Since then my "desktop" (middle/main) monitor will no longer go to sleep. Its a bummer having to turn off my monitors manually.

Otherwise I've had no other issues. Dragon Age screams at 4800x1200 with physx hardware acceleration.

Hey Dave what are your thoughts on this 10.1 and where can I get 9.12 the driver at least worked for me. Ever since I updated to 10.1 I have been having many issues. One is BFBC2 keeps crashing randomly and before I updated to 10.1 I didn't have any problems at all with BFBC2. Some other problems I have exp with 10.1 are ATIKMDAG blue screen or ATIKMPAG I can't remember, Corrupt Cursor Problem, Distorted DP Monitor, and a few other things I am sure that I am forgetting.

So Dave what driver do you think is the best right now. Because this 10.1 has some serious issues.

Thanks went back to 9.12 these 10.1 are a joke. Good job on testing to ATI CCC testers. One step two step.

Well, they do have some bugs, but honestly for me they were a big improvement over 9.12. No longer having to unplug and plug my displayport adapter in everytime I switch from extended desktop to eyefinity or back.

it's no secret, the drivers are flaky, at best, with crossfire. too many reports which lack consistency to replicate any situation with confidence. can't replicate, can't solve.

i'm not happy, just not as 'vocal' (rude) as 'some' (3 guesses)

i'll speak with my wallet. waiting for one more driver and then putting the second 5870 on ebay. lesson learned.
