Hrrrm, looks like someone might have broken NDA and is selling thiers on ebay: Judging by the seller it seems like they have just broken the street date, which means launch could be any time now if the shops are starting to get them in their possession. ;) |

So... with this card you'll need DP (or active DP conversion?) for every (monitor) connection from the 3rd on(3rd 4th 5th and 6th monitor)? or am I understanding this wrong? :shock: |

The ebay listing is at least 3-4 weeks old. It was there when I first started researching my build. At that time it had a buynow price of 1800$. Personally I'd be highly skeptical, at 900$ it should have been sold multiple times by now. |

Is there any reason to expect it to be anywhere near that price? Should it be that much more than a 5870? More than the 5970...? |

I'd guess it'll be around $500 MSRP. Take price gouging into account, you'll be looking at it getting close to the 5970 MSRP. 5870 is $389 IIRC and 5970 is $599... |
